Tenant Voice
Introducing Tenant Voice
Your new way to shapre our services
Tenant Voice is Arawak Walton's relaunched tenant panel, replacing the Tenant Quality Panel. It's less formal, easier to get involved with, and built directly from what tenants told us they wanted.
Why we changed it
When we asked, tenants told us the old panel felt too formal and closed off. So Tenant Voice combines proper, structured input into decisions with something much more flexible: informal sessions, and tenant-chosen “deep dives” into the services that matter most — no minimum attendance, no formal membership required.
What Tenant Voice does
- Scrutinises our services and challenges our thinking directly
- Chooses and leads “deep dive” reviews into specific service areas — the first covered Tenant Involvement and Community Engagement; the second, already underway, is looking at Estate Management and Home Visits
- Sends its findings and recommendations straight to the Tenant Experience Committee and Board for action — not just a discussion group, a direct line into decision-making
Our Code of Conduct
As a member of Tenant Voice, you're helping shape decisions that affect your neighbours as well as yourself — so we ask everyone involved to follow the National Housing Federation's Code of Conduct, which we've signed up to. In short, it asks you to:
- Act in the best interests of tenants as a whole, not just your own situation
- Declare any conflict of interest — for example, if something being discussed relates directly to your own home or a close relative
- Treat everyone you deal with fairly, respectfully and without discrimination
- Keep any confidential or personal information you come across through your involvement private
- Not seek or accept preferential treatment with your own housing or services because of your involvement
- Speak up if you see something that doesn't look right — you're protected from being treated unfairly for raising a genuine concern in good faith
This isn't about catching people out — it's about keeping Tenant Voice fair, trusted, and focused on what matters to tenants.
You can read the full Code of Conduct at arawakwalton.com/code-of-conduct, and it's also available at any time through your involved-resident area on AW Connect, our online tenant portal.

YOUR VOICE, OUR PLANS SIDE TAB
Arawak Walton is committed to ensuring that tenants are able to give their views and take part in the decision-making process in a way that fits with their lifestyle and commitment. We carry out four specific scrutiny exercises a year including the undertaking of tenant wide surveys to help the Association decide how to better deal with tenants in the future. Subject areas are decided by our Tenant Voice and Tenant Experience Committee and the feedback we receive from the surveys help influence and inform both policy and service delivery.
In Q1 2026/2 we reviewed how we involve tenants in shaping Arawak Walton and how we support the communities where you live. The attached report explains how we listened, who
